Augmented Retail is an app that uses GPS to help shoppers search for and locate items with active augmented reality. We came up with this idea in 2009, so I feel like we deserve credit for early adoption of AR tech.

In order to promote Microsoft's cloud-based computing platform for building, deploying, and managing applications we developed an online reality show that pit teams of developers against each other for bragging rights and the title of King Code.
Outback was promoting steak combos: Steak & Shrimp, Steak & Crab Legs, Steak & etc. The "&" complemented the steak and The Komplimentary Koala complimented people on Twitter. When users tweeted @komplimentarykoala he responded with some pretty sweet sounding compliments.
We recorded the Koala's sweet, swet voice live and then tweeted out his complimentary responses live.
